imlr books
Published in association with the Institute of Languages, Cultures and Societies
Formerly known as igrs books, the imlr books series comprises monographs and volumes of essays in the field of Modern Languages (French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and comparative studies), and is published with the Institute of Languages, Cultures and Societies, University of London.
Selection of titles for inclusion in the series was by annual competition. Proposals for monographs, conference volumes, or thematically-linked collections of essays, between 30,000 and 100,000 words in length, were chosen by the series’ Editorial Board, which was advised by a peer review committee of senior academics in the field. The last competition was run in 2023.
