Warburg Institute Colloquia
Published in association with the Warburg Institute
The books in this series represent the curated published proceedings of conferences held at the Warburg Institute. Each volume consists mainly or entirely of papers presented at a conference, then developed, reworked and peer-reviewed for publication. The subject matter for Colloquia volumes follows the Institute’s primary focus on the ways in which European intellectual and cultural history has been shaped by the transmission of ideas, mores and religious practices, through texts and images, from classical antiquity to the early modern period.
